The Bethel School District is offering a free lunch program for its students over the summer.
The BSD serves the communities of Frederickson, Graham, Spanaway, Roy and Kapowsin.
Krista Carlson, the Director of Communications for the BSD, has issued the following press announcement describing the details of this new effort to address childhood malnutrition.

The Bethel School District announces the sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Program of Children. Lunches will be made available at no charge to attending children 18 years of age and younger. In accordance with Federal Law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
Lunches will be provided at the following sites from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday to Friday, June 24 to August 16, 2013 (except July 4).
