By Bruce A. Smith

An Eatonville man was killed in a traffic accident at the intersection of Mountain Hwy (SR7) and 304th Street in Graham early Sunday morning, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) announced today.

The deceased, Christopher A. Grice, 36, was a passenger in a 2002 Jeep Cherokee driven by Jacob Lee. 25, of Port Orchard. The WSP says that Lee was driving southbound on Mountain Highway at approximately 1:30 am and left the roadway at 304th, veering to the left. Lee re-entered the highway, crossing all lanes of traffic, and finally coming to rest on the right shoulder of the southbound lane.

WSP says that the cause of the incident was “DUI,” and charges of vehicular homicide are pending.
