The Men of Honor of Unity House – Chapters 13, 14 and 15

 A novel.

Prologue

 My name is Dave Stein.  At the time of the nuclear bomb attack on Worcester, Massachusetts I was a psychotherapist for the Unified Alliance of Worcester and assigned to Unity House, their foster care residence for juvenile male offenders.

 This story is my account of how my clients and I survived the destruction of our home and city, and formed the rescue group known as The Men of Honor.

More trouble on the Mountain

Two pairs of climbers are overdue from their scheduled hikes on the upper slopes of Mount Rainier above Paradise, park officials announced Tuesday afternoon – less that 24 hours after they joyfully declared that rescued snowshoer Yong C. Rescued Snowshoer Update – Family issues a statement of appreciation; Kim out of woods

Dateline Paradise:

Malcolm An, the son of rescued snowshoer, Yong Chun Kim, issued a statement of thanks late Monday in recognition of the hundreds of volunteers and national park staff who worked tirelessly for the past three days to save his father.

Yong Chun Kim came off the Mountain at 11 pm Monday. He is reportredly hale and hardy and has returned home with his family, foregoing any examination at a hospiital

Search for missing snowshoer enters third day

The search for Yong Chun Kim, 66,  a snowshoer missing since Saturday afternoon, continues into its third day on Mount Rainier, park spokesperson Lee Taylor announced today.  More than 90 people from a variety of mountain rescue organizations are now involved in the search effort, Ms. Taylor said.  Continue reading

Entrance fee waived this weekend at Mount Rainier National Park
